I’ve worked in renewable energy for over 8 years, and I fully appreciate the role technology innovation can play in helping us tackle the climate crisis. I was inspired to paint this as I’d been so impressed with the sense of scale I felt whilst standing on the platform of the Levenmouth turbine in Fife, Scotland.

The view was fantastic and I loved the contrast of the bright yellow foundation against the gorgeous blue sky. I wanted to really show the scale of the turbine and I feel that this particular angle helps to demonstrate that.
