This is a personal painting for me. Back when I lived in my little flat in Bearsden, I woke up early one morning and when I peeked out between the curtains, the whole place was enveloped in thick, virgin snow!

I grabbed my phone and took a photo through the window. Bizarrely, that photo turned out completely blue! I absolutely loved it and made a mental note to self that it would someday become one of my favourite paintings.
