This is Gus. He’s every bit as adorable in the fur as he looks in this painting.

Gus is my friend’s dog. I decided to paint this one for my lovely friend, to say a big thank you for, well a whole range of things really. Over the few years I’ve known her and her husband, they’ve been so generous and we’ve had some fab times in Berlin, Glasgow and Florence.

I was supposed to get married in March 2020 (!!) and my friend took me on an AMAZING trip to Marrakesh in February 2020 ‘just’ before we were all locked down for the foreseeable. It was a ‘pre-hen’ trip, just the two of us and what an eye (and nostril) opener it was!

I am so grateful for all of it, so this is a wee gesture to show my thanks.
