Back in 2015, my friend Christopher Mooney invited me to create a painting to accompany a short story he was submitting to American horror magazine, Devolution Z. It was a special edition based on Bigfoot.

It was a really enjoyable experience, creating a visual that captures the story and I’d never done this kind of thing before. Chris’s short story was chosen for publication and this is the completed artwork, included in the book but as an added bonus it was also used on the back cover. Chris is a prolific writer, and has gone on to publish his first collection of short stories in Whisky for Breakfast. I look forward to collaborating with him on future projects.
